I think the Universe just took pity on me. Went on over to Union City to make my pickup, figuring I would sit there until my load was ready. I went into the office to check in and the guy handed me my paperwork. My load had been ready about ten minutes. On the way out I just said a quick “thank you for that, Lord,” and I hit the road. This weekend is going to be tough. I'd like to just get home and get it over with.
