I just thought about something. The closer we've gotten to Mara's court date, the more distant she's become. Now I find myself wondering if she's orchestrated something and she knows all hell is about to break loose. Surely Mara could not be that callous and calculating. If it turns out she is, then she's a monster. And I won't believe that I could be that wrong about anyone.
