My enemy's name is Jim.

That occurred to me on the way home from Volvo. I had always attributed my frustration at having my truck repaired with incompetence at USX. Some brainiac always called in and changed the work order, and so things just didn't get fixed. Now I know that the guy's name is Jim and he works for U.S. Xpress.

I don't think I'm revealing too much by mentioning him by name. I didn't post his last name. Hell, I don't know his last name. But I believe that he is my personal enemy.

I'll explain why.

I don't feel that my truck is safe with the front end acting the way it is. However, Jim is the one who told Volvo to look at it, but to not look too closely. So Jim is soley responsible for the front end not being repaired. Since I feel it's unsafe, I feel that Jim is jeapordizing my life, as well as the lives of those around me, and he is jeapordizing the welfare of my family.

I will remember Jim. I'm sure at some point I will talk to him personally. Right now my only comfort is that USX' Safety Department is aware of Jim, as well. Supposedly the Safety Deptartment has put documentation in my file concerning my tribulations with this truck. If anything should happen to it in the future because these repairs were not made, it will most certainly come back to haunt Jim.

That's small consolation if I should get killed because my steering goes out and I lose control of the truck. But at this point any consolation is better than none.
