Christ. We got to Volvo and found the truck sitting dead in the yard. We haggled around a bit and the lady in the service department asked me if I wanted to leave it, because something was obviously wrong with the charging system. Duh! What the hell did I put it in the shop for? We conferred with Breakdown at USX and they said to leave it, and for Volvo to check out the charging system.

You know, I may be drifting awfully close to a Twilight Zone episode here, but didn't we put the damned truck in the shop for this? What have they been doing with it? I don't understand this. You put a truck in the shop and come back a week later to pick it up, having been told that it's done, and it won't start? That's the reason I brought it in here in the first place!
