St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Just picked up a load heading to Columbus, Ohio. The idea is that from there I'll pick up a load going to Charlotte, North Carolina, to deliver tomorrow morning. Going to be a hard bunch of running any way you look at it. But as I told a guy tonight, I can sleep in North Carolina.

It's been one hell of a day. Kicked off by getting my log inspected this morning by the Minnesota State Patrol at the Lakeland scalehouse. That threw me late. When I finally arrived, Mona was making the most bizarre noises. I couldn't dock because my air pressure had dropped and the brakes were locked down. USX called a road service, who came out and flushed the air lines (they were frozen), getting me serviceable. I docked, was unloaded, and headed for the local Peterbilt to get that air dryer fixed. That took a hell of a long time. Mostly because we had to get B&L's authorization before USX would allow Peterbilt to put on a new air dryer. I finally got squared away and went out to get my trailer, only to find out that it was frozen up. Wouldn't move and had a pronounced air leak. USX called the same folks who had come out before. The guy fixed the trailer by reversing the air couplings. I had reversed them when I put them on. Oh, well. Easy money for the mechanic, right?

Says a lot about how tired I am. Haven't had much sleep. And I'm about to run another hard run. Two, actually. Not sure how I'll log these trips, but I'm sure they'll be legal on paper in the end. And I'll soon be back in North Carolina.

I miss Mara. Tired of driving. I wanna go home. :)
