We've decided to wait until tomorrow morning to leave. I know that our time off here in Kings Mountain pretty much constitutes home time, we've been here so long. But I figure one more night won't make a difference.

We've decided to head for our home terminal, Tunnel Hill, in Georgia tomorrow. Basically, I made a mental list of everything that neds to be done to and for the truck. We need to have these things addressed while we have the chance.

Our front right tire is shot. Cruise control doesn't work and the “check engine” light stays on all the time. We have an air leak. Our permit book is a mess. And at some point we're going to need to get the truck inspected (before December 1st).

To be honest, we don't care who doesn't like all this. We'll be turning the truck in after Christmas, anyway. And while it might behoove us not to step on anyone's toes, I figure we've got great excuses.

Besides, this will give us a chance to get the tree decorated. ;-)
