Tonka Toys

Crossing the bridge over Escambia Bay in Pensacola, Florida. They've finished the new east-bound bridge and are working on the westbound bridge. I suppose there's still a kid in me somewhere, because I was torn between looking out over the beautiful water and watching the cranes (the big-assed metal ones, not the birds).

What is it about us men that make us so fascinated by construction projects? I have my theories. Most of which lead me to wonder to wonder if most of the men operating that heavy machinery are just kids who grew up and got bigger Tonka toys, and the rest of us kids are kinda jealous.
