Gettysburg

I just went through Gettysburg. It was interesting going through downtown Gettysburg in a big truck. Was fun to look at the people milling about outside of the shops. Very tourist oriented, but cute all the same. Then I got on the west side of town and went through the actual battlefield. Or whatever corner of it that US 30 runs through. Was amazing how different the energy felt there.

One of these days I'll have to return here. I've been through Gettysburg, Bull Run, Manassas and Chickamauga. But I won't feel like I've paid my respects until my feet have touched the ground.
