From Dundalk, Maryland

Dundalk, Maryland. Sitting at the Consignee, waiting for them to crank up operations for the day. My appointment is for 07:00, so I'm a tad early. This place was relatively painless to get to. Which doesn't bode well for my next pick-up. It's Friday, So there must be pain at some point. It's tradition.

I'm in no particular hurry to get back to North Carolina. I had sort of figured on getting a hotel room this weekend and writing a bit, but the mystery status of the Thunderbird may tank that plan. I'm supposed to call today and find out what my current repair bill is, and decide where to go from here. That essentially means that the mechanic and I will discuss how much money I have now versus how much money I'm likely to have in the near future.

Oh, well. It's not a bad problem to have. I've wanted to get the T-bird back on her feet for a long time, so this has lifted my spirits considerably. And given how much I've been struggling lately (I don't know why), it's a much needed change. If I can't get a hotel room to write, I can always make the ultimate sacrifice and play a lot of World of Warcraft.
