Here I am again.

I think, more than anything, I'm writing in reference to the long lost Alembic. Mark has said, again, that he will let me have it back if I want it. He has paid over $300 on it, and I would have to give him that, but I am definitely going to call him on this and see if he's bluffing.

I don't think I could have picked a better time, either. It looks like Mark and BJ are going back together, so he'll want and need all the money he can get. Also, Lo has just written Chris a check so that he can pay off a guitar he's lain away. She wouldn't dare give me any grief on a deal with Mark.

What I'll propose is giving Mark $100 a week until I've given him what he's put into the bass, and he will retain possession until such as time as his part of it is settled.

I'll put off paying any real money on the acoustic until February, after I've gotten my hands on the Alembic and settled into a manageable weekly payment plan for it. Then, around March, I'll get out my acoustic and wander on my merry way.

Hopefully, in this time, I'll also manage to get back into playing. I think getting an amplifier depends on whether or not those guys are actually going to give me a credit card, so I'll concentrate on other things, namely the re-acquisition of some of my equipment.

Especially the Alembic.
