Sleepy Ramblings from Georgia

Just got into Georgia. Making pretty good time. I'm at least on schedule. I'll be cutting it close, to say the least, but I think I'll make it.

I've been thinking about the goodies I had waiting for me at Mama's. I won't go into any detail aboup what came in, really, but will let it suffice to say that I have some new headphones and a MIDI interface (which are going to be used in recording), and a new writing software which I hope will help with my stories. I feel that these things are a step forward. How big of a step is debatable. But any progress is worth noting.

At the moment I have money in the bank. But I'm holding off on new purchases. The mechanics told me that they'd have my Thunderbird out of the shop by the end of the month. I need to hang onto every penny I can. God only knows how much these guys will charge me. So far there has been no mention of prices. I don't want to be caught with my pants down. Not that I'm in any hurry to get the T-bird back. I have nowhere to put it. Well, I have a few ideas, but nothing concrete.

Man, I'm beginning to struggle a bit. I expect and hope that my delivery will be a live unload. That means I'll get a nap. They can take as long as they want.

The sky is beginning to lighten up. If I can just punch through into daylight, I'll be fine. Or if I can just get down into the outer Atlanta area. Just being on the bigger roads with the higher volume of traffic will be enough to keep me awake.
