Well, I made a hit with Mama. I sent her a bonsai gardenia for her birthday. She's not going to be allowed to plant flowers or even have potted plants in her apartment. So a bonsai gardenia was the perfect thing. I'm glad she's so tickled by it. I know it could never make up for losing a whole yard, but at least she can take a small part of the yard with her.
