Those characters represent the most surreal thing to happen to me today. I'm not sure, but I believe that's my name in Chinese. If you can't see the characters, you must not have a Chinese font installed. That's one reason I assume it's Chinese. I don't have a Taiwanese font on my computer.

I came across a translation of the introduction I wrote to the Malleus Maleficarum web site on a web page in Taiwan. Okay, it's really bizarre to see something I've written translated into Chinese. But it says a lot about the validity of the introduction that it's taken on a life of its own.

I took down the introduction because some people whined about bias. Now I'm beginning to wonder if I should put it back up. Maybe not on the Malleus site itself. But I could certainly put it on my web site, and then put a link on the Malleus site. All of the perceived biases would be intact, but it would clearly be on my personal web site and therefore my personal opinion.
