I hope I can cool down a bit before I get home. I'm mostly angry with Countrywide, but I'm mad at Mara, too. I told her from the start that if she sent money to Countrywide to send it registered mail so that they'd have to sign for it, thus proving that they got it. Shit, I'm beginning to wonder if she's trying to lose the house. She's made no secret about resenting winding up tied to that house. If I should find out she's done something like that, we would be finished. I don't know how I could bear to look at her knowing that she had betrayed me so completely.
