I'm scheming about what to do about finding another job. Epes Transport never called me back, so I guess I should move on from that idea. So what to do? Right now I'm figuring on taking Mara to work tomorrow and hitting some of the local driving jobs in Charlotte. Mara and I could ride to work together. Failing that, it's back to regional long-haul and coming home on the weekends.

All I know is that I need to go shake the bushes. I waited on Epes because I think I just assumed that I'd be going back to Epes. But they haven't shown much interest. It was probably stupid of me to wait this long to see if they would call. I assumed that they would.
