I just defined the word “terrorist” to someone on the CB. A terrorist is someone who uses fear as a tactic, hence the word “terror-ist.” Terrorists don't blow up things just to hurt people, but to instill fear into a group of people. The point of a bomb exploding is not aimed at the people the bomb kills, but at the people who survive. So as far as I'm concerned, Bush and company, by using terror alerts to frighten Americans into supporting them, have engaged in terrorism and are therefore terrorists.

Oddly enough, no one argued with me on the radio. That surprised me. I really thought I'd touch off a firestorm there, because so many of these Right-Wing Christian truck drivers practically think Bush is Jesus Christ returned to Earth. Maybe someone understood my point for once.
