Poor Mara. She got home from work today only to find out that Mama had taken the house key that she had left in the mailbox. Mama went to Charlotte with Doug and Margaret, so Mara left the house key in the mailbox because they didn't know who would be back first. Well, Mama took the key. Mara's had a really bad day. First she finds out she's going to be laid off, then she comes home to this. I stayed on the phone with her phone a long time. She cried a bit. I can understand it. What a day. She's going to wait at my aunt Sue's house for Mama to get home. Sue has some kittens. Hopefully being around the kittens will lift Mara's spirit a bit. She certainly needs it.
