Nebraska; just into Sidney (waving at Cabela's). We've got 24 hours to go 1,200 miles. Shouldn't be a problem, but we're running half tanks because our trailer was over-loaded (46,390 lbs). We'll have to stop more for fuel, which will cost us time. The only way to offset that is to run hard and steady between fuel stops. *yawn* Did I mention that we're both tired?

In other news, I've been reading Endymion, a sequel to the Hyperion books Mara and I loved so much. Mara read this and the following book ages ago. I hadn't had the chance until now, and might not now if I had anything else to do while Mara played Everquest. But I've started it now, and it's largely the reason I'm running low on sleep. I love this series.

As for being tired, I'm charging my iPod and will to get our Bose headphones to work (my iPod hasn't been used since the headphones started acting up in San Antonio, and was dead). If nothing else I'll use Mara's ear-buds. Normally I'd rather listen to nothing at all than suffer the tinny sound of ear-buds, but at this point it's more about staying awake than quality of sound.
