God, I hate Al Franken’s Good Ribben' segment. They go into the South and find barbecue restaurants with a Conservative clientele, who Al can argue with. I hate the segment because it fosters the notion that only Southerners vote Republican, in the same way that Northern prejudices seem to allow that only Southerners are racist. As much as I enjoy and appreciate Air America Radio, they don't have a single show that hasn't taken digs at Southerners. I'm tired of the hypocritical prejudice of Northerners, and especially the prejudice of the largely NYC based hosts of Air America. It's difficult feeling that I’m not only behind Conservative enemy lines, but that I’m also not respected or wanted on the Liberal side because of my accent and where I live.
