I took the covers off of the sleeper windows today. Initially I did it just so that Ria could look outside. Her curiosity waned quickly, but then mine took over. From the bunk I was watching the sky and the clouds. It shocked me to realize how long it had been since I had just stared at the beautiful, immense sky. We miss out on so much simple human interaction out here, locked in our rolling cage. It was nice to escape humanity for a little while.
