I experimented with my old Ampeg guitar head today. Just on a lark. I drug it out of its case, put it up on a counter in the kitchen and hooked it up. Since my Destroyer is fugged I plugged in my Strat. I kind of liked the sound and its distortion, but Mara didn't much care for it. Of course, she's of the opinion that the Strat should never be distorted, so that's understandable. But she didn't like the clean sounds, either, which confused me. Still, it's an old amp and it doesn't have the presence of some of the newer amps. Anyway, it was an interesting experiment.
