Another Tuesday. Mara is down at the truck stop, getting the truck ready to go. I'm tinkering around. I didn't get anything done last night. I wound up watching The Last Temptation of Christ. It's the first time that I've seen it. I was very surprised. I really don't see what all the fuss was about. It's not at all like Christian leaders made it out to be. I don't really have time now, but I hope to talk more about this later. I think a lot of Christians were mislead by their leaders. The crime of that is that most of them dismissed the movie as blasphemous without ever having seen it.

There are a lot of things going through my head right now. A lot of things that I didn't get a chance to address last night. Now, of course, I don't have time. I will mention that we almost called Sam Ash last night and laid away that Carlo Robelli fretless. It's not even listed on the web site now, and all the rest are listed as being in limited quantity. But I decided to wait until next week. If we're going to put a commission in anyone's pocket, I want it to go to Dave (whom we usually deal with). If I miss out on the opportunity to get that fretless and the 6-string, then so be it.

By the way, Mama just showed me a picture of my father, Bob, when he was about 1 year old. I've never seen this picture, and I'm kind of excited about it. I can't wait to get back home next week so that I can scan it. Allen would probably love to have a copy of it. I don't know if Justin (my MIA brother) would care, but I'll send him a copy of it (assuming that his mailing address is still current). It's interesting to see my father as a child. It also makes me wonder how many such pictures are in storage down in Blacksburg in the possession of my cousin, Joann. I also wonder how much grief I'll have to go through to make copies of them.
