Mama wrote tonight and said that Dr. Anderson told her that her blood Pressure was really high and that she would have to cut out salt. To Mama, a Southern cook from way back, I think this is an unimaginable calamity. But I think it'd be good for all of us. I had planned to renew my Atkins vows after Christmas, anyway. Maybe we could all jump in the same boat. Not necessarily Atkins, but healthier eating. Less salt would certainly translate into less fat, and we're already on a Splenda kick. Hmmm.
