We had hoped to get home in time for my birthday, but didn't get home until about 02:00 this morning. I had a pretty good birthday. All I asked for was an Oakland Raiders football from Mara and some chicken pot pie from Mama. I got both. Plus, Mama threw in a nice digital camera to replace the one that was stolen from us in Salt Lake City. That was a surprise, and an excellent one at that. It'll be nice to take pictures of the gorge above Asheville once the leaves start changing. A good birthday.
