Mostly, though, I’m writing to mention something interesting. I saw a bear today in Pennsylvania. It was in the brush on the side of I-80 eastbound. It was black with a grey snout. I thought it was a Husky dog at first, but then realized that it was a bear. It was either a cub or still very young. It was just standing there, looking around.

I have to admit that I never expected to see a bear out here. That was pretty cool.
