Frogs in Fort Mill

Fort Mill, South Carolina. I'm delivering a load I picked up in Verona, Mississippi (south of Tupelo) yesterday. I'm sitting at a customer which is a new store in a lumber and hardware store chain. It looks like this is going to take a while, because a lot of other trucks are here. And guess who's at the end of the line? But it's probably home from here. So ... no complaints.

I was sitting here listening to the croaking of frogs in some nearby pond for a while, but they've since fallen quiet. I wonder if the reason might've been the joke one of the truck drivers made about eating some frog legs. But I liked the sound. Reminded me of home.

But then, that might be because I'm only 30 miles from home. Hadn't thought about that.
