How strange it is to come back to the truck with a sandwich and not have Ria to share it with. We had to take her home. She was favoring her left eye when we left Tuesday, and it got progressively worse. She was having episodes where she was screaming because it hurt her so much. Our first load didn't go to Waukegan, but to Mountain Home, Arkansas. She had her first episode on the way over, and another, worse one, on the way back. So we called Mama and asked her if she would take Ria to the vet this morning when he opens, and we took her by home after delivering our return load in North Cove. This truck seems empty without her.
