I heard ancient Pink Floyd from BBC live doing "Echoes" and "One Of These Days". It was recorded by the BBC in 1971 around the time of Meddle. It's also stunning to listen to those old Pink Floyd performances and realize how central Roger Waters' bass and vocals were to the overall sound of things. I'm still dumbfounded how David Gilmour can get away with downplaying Waters' contributions. Hell, he doesn't just get away with it, he's given a free pass. I wish I could find this performance on CD.
