05:58. Thursday morning. Just north of Pioneer, TN in pursuit of the Kentucky border. My shift is jut beginning, and I’m tired enough to worry about it. I didn't sleep much while Mara was driving, and out here you can't afford to miss sleep. There's no way of making it up. So by the end of the week you've accumulated sleep-debt. This isn't as much of a problem for Mara, but it's something I worry about. It's also something that wouldn't be as much of a problem if we had a smoother riding Volvo 780. ;-)

Oh, well. The sun will be up soon. It always helps. We're a little behind, so I hope I can keep gettin' it until we reach Waukegan.
