I talked to Mama today. Mara and I misunderstood her. The house loan isn’t going to be in her name, but her name will be on it, along with ours, for the first year. After that, they'll take her name off and give us a lower interest rate. There was also another surprise. Paul Yale paid off all of my debts and will give us the balance (about $20,000). While I might've wanted to wait, it's good to be debt-free for once. From here on out, I’ll be building credit. That's a good thing, huh?
